What a wonderful experience! My friend and I have waited 25 years to enjoy Japan together after many years of loving and appreciating Japanese culture. We loved choosing our kimono and accessories and felt very pampered as we were dressed and had our hair done to finish the look. We had two 7-year old children with us who were also able to enjoy the experience with their own child-sized kimono. The service was wonderful and everyone took their time to help us feel special. It was also great that they secure your belongings so you don’t have to lug around anything more than what fits in your colour-coordinated purse.
The location of Vasara Kimono Rental is perfect! Super close to the most picturesque canal and shops, so we were easily able to enjoy wearing our kimono while hopping from shop to shop for food and unique gifts. We have the best photos of our day dressed in beautiful kimono and it is certainly something we will never forget!
